The Gate Configuration form enables you to add or edit a gate configuration for the selected operator.

To add or edit a gate configuration:

1. In the Gate Config. ID field, enter a name that uniquely identifies the gate configuration.

N4 uses this ID to create the menu option under the Operations Gate menu. The ID of each individual gate stage associated with a gate is then used to create the submenu for each stage that you can use to access the <GateStage> tab for the gate stage.

2. In the Description field, enter a description for the gate configuration.

3. Optionally, in the Trouble Document drop-down list, select the document you want to use for trouble documents for the selected gate configuration.

The Trouble Document drop-down list displays existing documents in N4 with a Document Type Usage of Trouble.

If you do not select a Trouble Document, N4 uses the default TROUBLE document.

4. Mark the check box ‘Ignore recording CUSTOM_TV Event’ if you do not want N4 to record CUSTOM_TV event for each customized business task included when you process a truck visit.

5. Click Save.
